As our team keeps growing – today we are already more than 20 people – we decided to conduct an internal employee satisfaction survey. We included all members of our group, even those who only collaborate part-time. The survey was not mandatory, but we are glad that the majority of the team filled it out, which gave us valuable insight into how employees feel and what they would like to improve.
What did we find out?
The results confirmed our expectations – the greatest opportunities for progress lie in work organization. Employees highlighted the need for more clarity in certain processes, better distribution of responsibilities, and more structured communication between departments. These are the areas we will be actively developing in the coming months.
The survey also included open questions where employees could share their concrete suggestions. Some ideas were very innovative and have already been included in our action plans. Others did not align with our long-term business strategy. In such cases, we transparently explained in meetings why certain suggestions would not be implemented – we believe that open communication is key to a positive work environment.
Intrapreneurship and active team involvement
Our long-term goal is to encourage intrapreneurship within the company. We want employees to not only be task executors but also active co-creators of the business. We believe that every team member can contribute to innovation and company growth with their ideas, experiences, and suggestions. This approach gives employees a stronger sense of ownership and motivation, while the company benefits from greater agility and team cohesion.
To ensure everyone has a clear overview of progress, we publish our business results internally on a monthly basis. In these reports, we review what went well, where we still have room for improvement, and which processes can be optimized. Such transparency helps build trust within the team and reinforces the sense that we are all part of the same story. It also allows employees to connect their ideas with the company’s actual results.
Action plans and next steps
For suggestions that directly impacted efficiency and job satisfaction, we prepared clear action plans. Our goal is to ensure changes do not remain just on paper but are reflected in the team’s daily work. We will continuously monitor results and adapt along the way, as we believe that developing a company is a process that requires ongoing improvement.
Final thought
Our survey was an important step toward better work organization and an even stronger work culture. We are happy that our team is willing to share their opinions and that we are building an environment where everyone can contribute to progress. We are convinced that the results will be visible both inside the company and outward – in an improved experience for our clients and partners.
