WordCamp Is First and Foremost About Community
WordCamp is not just a technology conference. It is a community-driven event built around open knowledge sharing and collaboration. That is why WordCamp events around the world attract people from many different backgrounds — from developers and designers to content creators, entrepreneurs, and digital agencies.
These events allow attendees to exchange knowledge, follow new trends in the WordPress world, connect with industry professionals, and discover new ideas and business opportunities. For companies and individuals working with WordPress, this is a valuable opportunity to stay connected with the platform’s development and the technologies shaping modern web development.
WordCamp Slovenia represents an important step forward for the local WordPress scene and the connection of the Slovenian market with the global WordPress ecosystem. Community, collaboration, and open knowledge sharing are exactly why WordCamp events continue to connect people across the digital industry worldwide.
WPM and WordCamp Slovenia 2026
Our team is also involved in organizing the first WordCamp Slovenia. Our director Jurij and team member Jaša are part of the organizing team, while several other WPM team members are participating as volunteers.
For us, being part of this project matters because we strongly believe in the power of community, open knowledge, and connecting people from the digital industry. WordCamp Slovenia represents an important milestone for the growth of the local WordPress ecosystem and stronger connections between Slovenia and the global WordPress community.
Events like this are not only important for developers or agencies, but for the digital industry as a whole. They help spread knowledge, create new partnerships, and build a stronger community that contributes to a better web ecosystem in the long run.
