WordCamps are all about community, knowledge-sharing, and building stronger connections within the WordPress ecosystem. With this first edition, Vršac is officially joining the global family of WordPress events, and we are excited to be there from the beginning. Set in one of Serbia’s most charming towns, the event blends tech, culture, and community spirit. Expect not only great talks but also Banat cuisine, local wine, and a warm welcome from the Serbian WordPress community.
The conference will unfold across two inspiring venues:
- Conference Day (Sept 13) – Hotel Villa Breg, perched on Vršački breg with panoramic views of the town and the Vojvodina plain.
- Contributor Day (Sept 14) – Nikola Tesla School Centre, a retro yet tech-ready venue for workshops, collaboration, and coding.
What to Expect
Like every great WordCamp, the Vršac edition brings together knowledge, networking, and fun:
- Inspiring Sessions – Talks and workshops for both seasoned developers and newcomers.
- Contributor Day – A chance to give back to WordPress and meet contributors from across the region.
- Kids Camp – Introducing children to design, UX, and coding in a fun and engaging way.
- Parties & Networking – From the official afterparty to a special GoDaddy-sponsored gathering, there will be plenty of time to connect.
Our Highlight: Introducing Zyra
We are especially excited to use WordCamp Vršac as the stage to present Zyra, our new service designed as a growth partner for WordPress and SaaS developers. You code. We grow.
With Zyra, we help plugin builders, theme creators, SaaS teams, and hosting providers scale their products through:
- Copywriting, branding and design
- Social strategy and community engagement

Why This Event Matters
Being part of the first-ever WordCamp Vršac is a privilege. It is an opportunity to support a new community at its very first steps while sharing what we have been working on. For us this event is not only about the talks, it is about building lasting relationships in the region and paving the way for future milestones.
It also carries special importance because we are part of the organizing team for WordCamp Slovenia 2026, happening in Ljubljana next May. Attending Vršac gives us the chance to exchange experiences with organizers, observe how another regional WordCamp is run, and bring those lessons home to Slovenia. Every session, every hallway conversation, and every new connection here contributes to making WordCamp Slovenia a success.
